Manitoba PNP renewal for 2018

Updated Manitoba Programs to attract more immigrants to the province

The Canada and Manitoba governments have reached agreement on the renewal of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The MPNP renewal builds on our 10-point Economic Plan by improving Manitoba’s economic competitiveness, attracting new investment, fostering a skilled workforce, and encouraging new immigration.

In December 2017 Manitoba PNP has been reorganized in four application streams:

International Education Stream
Business Investor Stream
Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream

Each stream includes has specific requirements. A new approach has been implemented which is introduction of In-Demand Occupations list. It will be regularly updated.

In addition, the MPNP continues to support Manitoba’s francophone immigration strategy by providing priority for francophone applicants who meet the required criteria in one or more of the four streams.
